The LEGO Story

LEGO has definitely had a monumental influence on not only pop culture in general, but has expanded over the years to include scads and scads of highly lucrative and imaginative product lines and entertainment industry tie-ins.

Sometimes I think the hugely lucrative Star Wars license alone keeps LEGO in the black, but then again, there's Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman, Ben 10, Cars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Ninjago, Pirates of the Caribbean, Prince of Persia, Speed Racer, Spider-Man, SpongeBob SquarePants, Super Heroes, Thomas the Tank Engine and Toy Story (just to name a few) in the LEGO product line as well.

One way or another, the video below, featuring the animated history of the company, is reason enough to count The Lego Group of Billund, Demark among the very best that the Action Figure Universe has to offer.  Even if, that is, LEGO mostly just produces "minifigures," there certainly seems to be something in this line of endlessly expansive toys for just about everyone to enjoy.

LEGO Star Wars with SithLord229

SithLord229 is one serious Star Wars action figure reviewer.  His catalog of Youtube presentations is quite extensive and each video in the series is surprisingly well crafted, with loads of interesting tidbits and personal commentary.  This guy's enthusiasm and obvious love for the Star Wars saga is nothing less than inspiring and infectious.  An infamous Sith Lord I've heard tell of might even call this vlog, "Impressive.  Most impressive."
