Since its motion picture debut on May 25, 1977, Star Wars, created by George Lucas, has been an international entertainment and pop culture phenomenon.
To date, seven theatrically released Star Wars films have been produced, along
with three television specials, four animated series, a number of Star Wars Expanded Universe properties (including books, comics and video games) and an ever growing mountain of licensed merchandise
based on all of the above.
In 1977, the Kenner toy company was the first to produce a line of Star Wars action figures. Their decision
to produce the vast majority of these toys in 1:18 (3 3/4") scale proved to be a shrewd marketing choice
that helped to revolutionize the toy industry.
Though wildly successful, the line eventually ended in 1985.
Hasbro began producing Star Wars figures again in 1996 (having previously acquired Kenner in 1991).
Most recently, Sideshow Collectibles and Medicom Toys have also produced quite a number of Star Wars figures and related merchandise, mostly in the 1:6 scale format.

Star Wars Films and TV Series
page in this section is my own personal tribute to the various Star Wars productions that have been released since the original
film hit theaters on May 25, 1977.
are just a few of the my favorite Star Wars action figures from my collection. The six inch Black Series from Hasbro
is one of my personal favorites.
Star Wars universe is full of heroes and villains from countless worlds. Always choose your path carefully, and "May
the Force be with you, always."
Now, choose you must, the Dark Side or the Light. Choose wisely, but remember; once you have chosen your path,
forever will it dominate your destiny. Go forward you must. Forward! There is no going back, my young Padawan
learner. May the force be with you, always.
