There's just something magical about the relationship between fictional
FBI agents Fox Mulder
) and Dana Scully
). One is so far out there in his crazed fringe thinking that it seems he'll swallow just about anything.
The other however, tends to reject outright most things of a paranormal nature because of her own
deep seeded faith in science and reason.
Scully's strictly empirical approach
to solving the many bizarre cases handled by the X-Files may perhaps blind her from seeing any number of extraordinary
possibilities, but it is precisely this healthy skepticism that may help keep her partner Agent Mulder from going
completely off the deep end, in his never ending pursuit of an ever illusive truth
that always seems to lie out there, somewhere just beyond his all too eager grasp.
So Mulder and Scully NEED each
other though. We all do. Just to keep us sane. Because no man is an island. And nobody is always right...
or always wrong
. And in the realm of the supernatural, just about anything is possible.
